Museum closed on Sat 27 Nov due to weather
Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions we’ve had to take the reluctant decision to close the Museum on Sat 27 Nov.
This means that the Museum is closed for general admission. Santa Hunts for Sat 27 Nov are aslo cancelled.
This isn’t a decision that we’ve taken lightly. However, the safety of our visitors and colleagues is our priority. We’re very sorry and understand that this will be disappointing news for everyone who was looking forward to joining us today.

If your Santa Hunt has been cancelled on Sat 27 Nov you are eligible for a full refund on your tickets.
Santa Hunts are fully booked for the rest of the festive period, so we’re unable to offer you an alternative slot. We’re sorry about this. However, you are eligible for a full refund. Please contact our Sales & Ticketing team. The team are available Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm on 0121 520 8054, or email [email protected]. Quoting your order number or customer number when you get in touch will help us to process your refund as quickly as possible for you.
General admission bookings for Sat 27 Nov
If you’ve purchased a general admission ticket:
If you’ve purchased a general admission ticket to visit us on Sat 27 Nov, you can transfer your booking to an alternative date. You have 12 months from the date you purchased your ticket to make your visit to us.
On your visit, we’ll automatically convert your general admission ticket into an UnChained Annual Pass and you’ll have 12 months of free daytime returns to enjoy.* Go to our ticketing site and choose ‘Other Ticket Type’ for the date and time you’d like to visit us, or contact our Sales & Ticketing team via [email protected], or 0121 520 8054 (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm).
If you’re a current BCLM Member, or UnChained Annual Passholder:
Visitors with a valid Membership or Pass can re-book and visit us on an alternative date*. Go to our ticketing site and choose either ‘BCLM Member’ or ‘UnChained Annual Passholder’ on the date and time you’d like to visit.
