Celebrate the Black Country's rich vehicle manufacturing heritage
This Father’s Day weekend (18th and 19th June), race on down to Black Country Living Museum as we host our ‘Festival of Vehicles’ events. The Museum is home to the world’s largest selection of Black Country-manufactured vehicles, boasting an impressive collection of marques from Bean, Sunbeam, AJS, Clyno and more.
Enjoy a ride on a vintage motor bus around the canalside village and hop off to explore replica motor shops and garages that once existed in the region.
Chat with historic characters or our transport team to find out how the Black Country once dominated the transport manufacturing scene and how the region landed a formidable reputation for creating record breaking motorbikes, all before witnessing an exciting cavalcade of vehicles driving around the Museum’s streets.
And, what’s more, enjoy all your usual favourites! Experience a taste of what life was like in one of Britain’s first heavily industrialised landscapes, witness hands-on industry with the Museum’s chain and nail making demonstrations, enjoy a pint in one of the Museum’s pubs and get a taste of history with the Museum’s famous traditional fish and chips.
Plus, get 12 months free unlimited daytime return visits when paying for a full price ticket to BCLM’s ‘Festival of Vehicles’ event with the Museum’s UnChained Annual Pass offer.
