Opportunity: Chair of the Board of Trustees

The Museum now seeks to appoint a new Chair to provide exceptional leadership to the Board of Trustees and support the delivery of its strategic vision, We Are the Black Country.

Working closely with the Chief Executive, the Chair will ensure the Board is effective in setting organisational direction, safeguarding the Museum’s long-term sustainability and acting as an influential ambassador with stakeholders, partners and supporters. 

Candidates will bring strategic judgement, collaborative leadership, strong governance experience and the ability to build relationships across diverse audiences.

A commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, together with the credibility, networks and advocacy skills required to support fundraising and organisational growth, will be essential.
