Join our fun-filled Summer Activity Club for children aged 7 - 11
Give your child a summer to remember with our exciting Summer Activity Club for ages 7–11! Running Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30am–1:30pm, each action-packed week is bursting with hands-on crafts, creative activities, and adventure around the museum. From making and exploring to discovering new ideas, it’s all about fun, imagination, and making new friends.
Each booking includes three fantastic sessions plus delicious daily lunches (with options to suit every taste), so you can relax knowing everything is taken care of. It’s the perfect way to keep young minds active, inspired, and smiling all summer long!

What to Expect

Explore the outdoors
Children will stay active as they explore hidden corners of the museum, using their investigation skills to gain insights into life in the past, from the industries, people and environment of the Black Country. During a nature hunt across the museum's 29 acre site, they will seek out different habitats to inspire their own designs.

Make and take
Back in the club room, children will be introduced to new skills from weaving to banner making, and planting to clay modelling. They will use their creativity and self-expression to have a go, whatever their prior experience, and produce holiday club mementoes to take home to share with their family.

Food & drink
Water and squash will be available, please pack your drinks bottle for refills. For lunch, choose a ham or cheese sandwich with fruit and crisps on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Thursday, choose a hot food option, either a child portion of the Black Country Living Museum's popular fish and chips, or a child's jacket potato with cheese, baked beans or butter.You will be asked for your food choices and any dietary requirements at the point of booking.
