From the lotions and potions in the Edwardian chemist to the cures of the 1960s in the Infant Welfare Centre, meet historic characters and discover their challenges and unbelievable health regimes that belong in the past.

Meet the 1960s midwife, join in with mothercraft activities and toddler play.
Hear the night soil man call for the 'guzunders' and take part in his races.
Chat with the milkman and health visitor about their retro tips and tricks.
Assist the Girl Guide Captain recruiting new first aiders and have a go at old-fashioned techniques that are still used today.
