Priority booking and members only events

As a BCLM Member, you can enjoy priority access to booking for special ticketed events. This means you’ll get exclusive access to tickets ahead of our general release for many of our popular events*.

Plus, throughout the year our members can ‘Get Closer’ to our Black Country story with exclusive free behind-the-scenes events. We will introduce you to our collections, host online talks and much more. 

Members will also have the opportunity to delve deeper into our brand new Forging Ahead development, with special events and talks about the project. 

If you are an existing Member, please remember to have your membership login details to hand so that you can view exclusive member events, access priority booking and apply your discount on our ticketing site.

To visit – simply give your name and provide photo ID at the Admission Tills and the team will issue you with a temporary membership card for the day to access your onsite discounts.

To book – login here with your registered email address, and book an exclusive Get Closer members event, or use your members discount on special event tickets.

You can renew your membership in the following ways:

  • The easiest way to renew your membership is online.  Buy online now.
  • Download a membership form and return to us via post only (includes option to pay by Direct Debit)
  • Renew your membership in person at our Admissions desk (please note this excludes Direct Debit)
  • Alternatively, call our Sales & Ticketing on 0121 520 8054 (please note this excludes Direct Debit).

Your membership supports our work as a registered educational charity. Please be advised that your membership is non-refundable.

 Yes – if you’ve bought your Unchained Pass within the past month. You can do this over the phone by calling call 0121 520 8054 or pop in and visit our Admission desk.

Benefits on the site can be claimed by showing your membership card.

If you’re booking tickets over the phone, you will need to quote your membership number which can be found on your membership card.

Discounts will automatically be given online when you log in with your members account details. Ticket discounts are applied at the basket stage.

You’ll receive an email letting you know that priority booking has opened. These dates can also be found alongside events listings on our website.

You can buy as many tickets as individuals covered by your membership i.e. if you have a Single Membership, you can buy 1 discounted ticket; if you have a Family Membership you can buy 2 Adult Tickets and up to 3 Child Tickets. Please note our Peaky Blinders Nights are adult only events (16+) so tickets can only be purchased for the adult individuals covered in your membership.

From exclusive themed tours where you can Get Closer to our collection with our expert curators, to behind the scenes tours of our BCLM: Forging Ahead site. Login as a member and head to the What’s on page on our website so see all upcoming member events. 

We will keep you up to date with our latest events in your members’ What’s On email.

A 20% discount on food and drink is available for members only and can be used at the following outlets on production of a valid membership card: Rolfe Street Café, Workers’ Institute Café, Hobbs Fish & Chip Shop, Veal’s Baker’s Shop, T. Cook’s Sweet Shop and Bottle & Glass Inn. Discount applies to members only and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Discount does not apply to alcoholic beverages. Cards must be presented at the start of the transaction.

A 20% discount is available at the following shops: Museum Gift Shop and H. Morrall’s Gentlemen’s Outfitters. Discount applies to members only and cannot be used in conjunction with sale items or other offers. Discount does not apply to official Peaky Blinders merchandise or alcoholic products. Cards must be presented at the start of the transaction.

Unfortunately, we are unable to claim Gift Aid on membership payments as it can only be claimed on donations, not payments for goods or services. In some cases, membership subscriptions can be treated as donations for Gift Aid purposes but the value of the benefits we offer exceeds HMRC’s limit. As an educational charity, we rely on the support of our members and supporters to fund our work. We believe our membership scheme offers great value for money so we are unable to provide any further discounts. We do, however, offer a concessions rate on our Unchained Pass and free entry to all essential carers.

The gift membership is not activated immediately on purchase from our website or gift shop.

 The 12 month membership will start as soon as it is activated by the recipient over the phone 0121 520 8054 or in person at the Museum. Instructions on how to activate the membership are contained inside the pack.

Gift memberships are sent to the purchaser. If you would like your gift membership to be sent directly to the recipient there is a form which you can fill our when purchasing to provide their details and add a personalised note to the pack.
