Filming

A unique venue

Black Country Living Museum welcomes filming and photography requests and has starred in many different productions, from television series to music videos.

We can accommodate film productions of all sizes with parking for a transport base, green rooms and production offices, in-house catering, and an experienced filming team who understand technical and operational filming needs and who can be on-hand at all times for any on-site operations or access.

Filming enquiries should be sent to [email protected] in the first instance.

  • Based in Dudley, the Museum is centrally located in the UK, just eight miles from Birmingham and only three miles from the M5 and M6
  • The nearest train station is just one mile away and the Museum has two car parks, with electric vehicle charging points for 13 vehicles
  • There is a range of chain hotels, restaurants and a large leisure complex within 10 minutes walking distance
  • While we do accommodate filming, we are primarily a visitor attraction and therefore all filming is to be conducted outside of our opening hours
  • Please note, we are not currently accepting requests for coursework-related filming from students
  • If you’re interested in venue hire, please send enquiries to [email protected]
