All of our current vacancies are listed on our careers page on Hireful.

If you spot a vacancy on our careers page that you would like to apply for, please click the ‘Apply now’ button. This will open an online application form that you can begin filling in with your details.

If you are viewing on desktop, the ‘Apply now’ button is located near the top right and the bottom left of the page. If you are viewing on mobile, the ‘Apply now’ button is located at the top and the bottom of the page.

Unfortunately, we do not accept speculative applications. If you don’t spot a relevant role from our current vacancies, we recommend that you sign up for our job alerts online to be notified of future vacancies tailored to your specified interests.

I can’t upload my documents

Our system currently only accepts files that are in .doc, .docx or .pdf format with a maximum size of 2MB. If you wish to upload a document, please ensure your files fit this criteria.

I can’t submit my application / move on to the next section

Our application form contains some mandatory fields; these are marked with an asterisk (*). Any incomplete fields will highlight in red if an attempt is made to submit an application with missing information and an error will appear at the end of the page reading “Please fill out all required fields”. If this is the case, please go back over your application and ensure all fields are filled in.

Something else

Yes, if you feel there are multiple vacancies suited to your skills, experience and interests, then you are welcome to apply. You will be able to make a unique application for each role you apply for. This includes registering your interest to volunteer.

To work with Black Country Living Museum, you must have the right to work in the UK. Please refer to the UK Government website to check if you require a VISA.

You will receive an acknowledgement email shortly after submitting your application to inform you it has been safely received. Once the vacancy closing date has passed, we aim to respond to all applicants within two weeks.

Anyone aged 16 or over is welcome to apply. Unfortunately, due to our insurance and safeguarding policies, we are unable to recruit anyone aged 15 or under.
